TOBIQUE-MACTAQUAC – Mike Allen, Member of Parliament for Tobique-Mactaquac, will serve as Chair of the Atlantic Conservative Caucus.
Mr. Allen experienced his second election victory on Oct. 14, winning his seat by over 11,000 votes. During his first term as MP, he served as Vice-Chair of the Atlantic Caucus.
“I am very pleased to hold this position,” said Mr. Allen. “I realize how important it is for every region of the country to be heard on a national level and that includes Atlantic Canada.”
The size of the Atlantic Conservative Caucus increased by two for the 40th Parliament, and now includes four members of Cabinet and three Parliamentary Secretaries.
“Atlantic Canada, and especially New Brunswick, has a very strong voice in the House of Commons, and I look forward to working in the best interests of the people of the region, including my riding of Tobique-Mactaquac,” Mr. Allen said.
